The 2020 PRADO gushes with dark intense notes of blackberry, boysenberry and kirsch and hints of graphite.
The initial aromas of the 2021 PRADO are brooding with floral dark fruits of mulberries, plum, and notes of sandalwood—pure and directed with nice deep bass tones. Even with all the dark fruits, the palate is bright, juicy, and tangy, dancing with a nice interplay of tannin and acid to give structure and liveliness wrapped up with long, dense concentrated fruits but still genteel with balance and grace.
Dense black fruits of currant, blackberry compote and hints of toast lead the 2021 RESERVA as it unfolds with sandalwood, vanilla and floral notes and subtle forest floor character with exotic spices and curry. Silky and sweet fruited with dark chocolate character, the palate in this intensely focused wine has layers of mouth-coating flavors that continue to unfold over time.
